Can monitoring be installed in a wash-down area?
Yes, with appropriately rated instrumentation and enclosures — typically IP66 or above, hygienic mountings, and cable entries designed for wash-down. This is a specification question rather than an obstacle; the cost difference is real but modest.
We have very little downtime available for installation. Is that workable?
It is the normal constraint in this sector. Most of our installation work in food plants happens during cleaning windows and planned maintenance, in short phases. We plan the work so each phase is independently complete and the line is production-ready at the end of every window.
